I just got back from retreat last Wednesday and I couldn`t be anymore happier. We were told not to share it in too much details but I guess it`s safe to say that those three days were actually the best three days I`ve had in high school.
My favorite part will have to be the SOP, it`s a shortcut for the term "Sign Of Peace" and during that time, we`re allowed to give our classmates either a hug, pat or handshake. I chose to give lots and lots of hug because 1) I`m a hug person, I want to give one as much as possible and 2) I like receiving one in return. It`s also at this time wherein I get to hug my bestfriend. I guess this retreat became special to me because I get to bond with my bestfriend. Before the said event, I hardly have the time to speak with him even if he`s my classmate and it`s actually kind of sad until now. :)
I also miss everytime we`ll rush into the refectory to dine and insult the food in the most subtle way. We were trying our best to avoid doing something bad, we`re at a retreat after all. Plus, the part wherein we`re almost late yet we still got lost on our way which made us really late for some sessions. We even chose to wear our PJs for the last sessions which made the place feel more like home.
Then everyone started to share how they love our section and how they`re enjoying every single bit of their last days with each other. It`s really... liberating. To finally say I love Catz and move on from Pius. Everyone and every memory I had with Pius will always hold a special place in my heart, I also couldn`t deny that they`re my favorite out of all but Catz has something that Pius don`t. And I can`t place my finger on it. That`s what makes them great.
